I went to an Apps and Education training as part of a staff development day recently and learned about the Canby school district, a local school district who has received a grant to purchase iPods and iPads for their classrooms throughout the school day. They have developed a site for sharing information about how they’re using the devices in the classroom and developing lesson plans

Conversation Builder has made my list of top autism apps for sure. I am currently using the Basic Conversation Builder with my students with autism ranging in age from kindergarten to 5th grade.
