Play on Words  Sherry is a SLP who has worked with kids with communication delays for more than 35 years.  She is a great resource for parents  and professionals looking for strategies, tools and games that promote speech and language in children with communication delays.

Squidalicious.com    This is a blog written by a mother of a 10 year old boy with autism.  It is a great resource for app reviews, specifically information on autism and the iPad.

Apps in Education  This is a must for anybody working with iPads in the schools!  You’ll find recommended apps in every subject area including special needs.  This is a great place to start if you are just beginning to use iPads in education or therapy and a huge time saver for keeping up to date on new apps.

Geek SLP   This blog is written by an SLP turned app developer.  She has developed several of the speech/language apps I’ve come across through my searching.  Her website is extremely thorough, well organized and current.  This is a particularly great resource for SLPs.

Apps for Speech Therapy  This blog is written by a SLP who started using the iPad in therapy about a year ago.  She has some nice reviews of apps she’s used in therapy.

SLPsharing This blog is written by another SLP turned app developer.  The blog is extremely informative and organized.

Moms with Apps This is a collaborative group of family-friendly developers seeking to promote quality apps for kids and families. Their app catalog is available on iTunes.

Appolicious Great place for app reviews and recommendations!

SpeechTechie This is another great place for SLPs looking for ideas on how to incorporate all kinds of technology into therapy and to find apps to add to their toolbelt.  Check out the post for an ever growing list of recommended SLP apps.
